On September 2, 2004, Steve Sullivan, Chief Executive Officer and Mark Owens, Senior Vice President of Sullivan International Group, Inc., met with Ron Fuller of Naval Facilities Engineering Command to commemorate the close out of Contract N63387-96-D-3600. The contract was the follow-on award of the nation’s first Environmental Job Order Contract (EJOC I). “EJOCs I & II empowered us to exceed customer expectations on a firm, fixed-price basis. In a cost-reimbursement world this was a breath of fresh air to our DoD customers,” stated Mark Owens, EJOC Program Manager, “Together, the two contracts represent more than 10 years of on-time, on-budget performance.”
During the commemoration, Ron Fuller, Administrative Contracting Officer for EJOCs I & II presented the final contract performance evaluation for EJOC II. “It is rare that a contractor can complete years of work and nearly 200 task orders, all on time and on budget,” stated Steve Sullivan, “but it is extremely rare for a contractor to accomplish this without requesting a single change order. We believe that our commitment to our clients, and respect for their budgets, were key contributing factors leading to our “Outstanding” evaluation.”
