Sullivan Taking the Lead in Building Infrastructure Security
Over the past year Sullivan has been actively engaged in developing a team of professionals that are well suited to provide building services that parallel a growing need in the infrastructure security arena. Following the tragic events of September 11, 2001, there have been a number of groups and organizations that have focused on developing better methods and processes for dealing with issues related to the security of the nation's built environment.

Many of our nation’s precious resources are vulnerable to attack and there is an ongoing effort by multiple agencies to implement the necessary building programs and contracts necessary to help mitigate some of the current and future risks associated with these threats.

One particular organization, “The Infrastructure Security Partnership”, has developed an alliance with key private sector and federal agencies to “help facilitate dialogue on domestic infrastructure security and offer sources of technical support and expert comment on public policy related to the security of the nation's built environment”. In support of Sullivan’s commitment to developing core competencies that can be utilized on current and future Infrastructure Security contracts and projects, Sullivan has recently made a key hire, Dr. Joseph Fucella, a recently retired US Army Corps of Engineers Lt Colonel, who has extensive building and infrastructure experience as well as expertise in cutting edge infrastructure security methods and techniques.

Sullivan is committed to supporting anti-terrorism and asset protection methods and techniques of the built environment and is continuing to develop knowledge related to infrastructure security codes, standards and public policy.
